The
Strut Tower consists of a lower outer tower and an upper inner
tower. A hydraulic Telescoping Jack allows the upper tower to
telescope partly out of the lower tower, against even a substantial
opposing load.
The Tie Bar Strut serves the purpose of creating the
proper load distribution between the three sets of Tie Bars.
Tightening of the Tie Bars is obtained by telescoping the Strut Tower. |
